Afreet Boss Guide: Gravity Attacks and Style Choices

What the First Bite demo and official footage reveal about Afreet, including its gravity Overtech and useful Style pairings.

What is Afreet?

Afreet is one of the two bosses confirmed for the First Bite demo. Its official profile says afreets earned KOM’s trust by drinking the flames of hell, leaving them with internal heat that burns continuously. Their rank gives them access to advanced Overtech, including a gravity-control system used to torment opponents.

That description gives us the shape of the fight, but not a complete move list. There is no verified public HP total, elemental resistance table or reward list yet.

What does the official footage show?

GPTRACK50 has demonstrated the encounter with Snow Fairy and Cyclops. Snow Fairy provides mobile ice-based attacks; Cyclops is the heavier bruiser with a large club. Separate footage shown to press used Harpy and Werewolf instead.

That is useful evidence because it shows the fight is not built around one compulsory form. Two very different pairs can approach the same boss:

  • Snow Fairy + Cyclops: control and safer movement paired with close-range impact.
  • Harpy + Werewolf: aerial control paired with aggressive ground pressure.

These are observed combinations, not a ranking. The Style Eat guide explains why Davy’s two stored forms should cover different jobs.

How should you prepare?

Gravity control is the mechanic to watch. Until the full attack timings are documented, enter with a form or Body Hack part that gives you a way to change position without depending on a slow ground approach.

Keep these questions in mind during the first attempt:

  1. Which animation starts the gravity attack?
  2. Does it pull, pin or change the arena around Davy?
  3. Is the recovery long enough for a heavy Style to punish?
  4. Can an airborne form stay active while the ground becomes unsafe?

The combat guide covers the game’s parry-led defense. For equipment choices, see Body Hack and OT Gear.

Is Afreet in the free demo?

Yes. GPTRACK50’s First Bite announcement names Afreet and Wyvern as the two bosses players can encounter. The demo covers roughly two hours and allows save transfer. Download links are in the First Bite guide.

What still needs testing?

The final guide needs attack names, cue timing, phase changes, damage windows and rewards. Those details will be added only after the encounter can be repeated on a recorded game version. For now, this page is a preparation guide built around official footage rather than invented numbers.
