The Four Generals of KOM: Surtr, Dragul, Takiyasha-Hime and Wolfgang
Meet KOM's four generals, why each one serves the King of Monsters, and where Everent fits into the conflict.
Who are KOM’s Four Generals?
The Four Generals are Surtr R.S., Dragul, Takiyasha-Hime and Wolfgang. They serve KOM, but the third trailer makes clear that this is not one interchangeable group of villains. Each has a separate bargain, obsession or code tying them to the King of Monsters.
Surtr R.S.
Surtr R.S. lives for deadly fights and trusted only his own strength until KOM handed him his first defeat. He responded by swearing loyalty to the one monster stronger than him. During the war with humanity, he was said to fight with the strength of tens of thousands.
His contempt for weakness puts him directly against Davy, whom the world regards as the weakest zombie. That makes Surtr more than a large obstacle: he embodies the hierarchy Davy is trying to overturn.
Dragul
Dragul is one of the oldest living monsters and carries the title “the Impaler.” He joined KOM on the condition that his clan would eventually be able to live beneath the sun.
Nearly immortal, he is still looking for someone capable of killing him. The official profile also treats him as a celebrity in monster society, complete with a rumored fan club whose members age while he does not.
Takiyasha-Hime
Takiyasha-Hime was cursed and controlled by her father. After KOM killed him, she transferred that fixation to KOM and began treating him as a new father figure. She believes he may one day break the curse that survived her father’s death.
Her loyalty is emotional and absolute. She curses anyone standing in KOM’s way, and the same official material identifies her as the person who cursed Everent after the sage refused to join KOM.
Wolfgang
Wolfgang is the leader of the wolf clan. He nearly destroyed the rival dog clan, yet chose to serve KOM after instinct told him the King of Monsters was beyond his ability to defeat.
Following the stronger leader does not offend his pride; it fits the hierarchy of the pack. The comic edge comes from territorial habits so extreme that even his own subordinates find them embarrassing.
Who is Everent?
Everent is not one of the Four Generals. The sage can hear Gaia and understands KOM’s anger over humanity’s environmental destruction, but rejects his methods. That refusal led Takiyasha-Hime to curse them.
