Davy and Julia: Story and Character Guide
Who Davy and Julia are, why a timid zombie enters KOM’s dungeon, and which parts of their story GPTRACK50 has revealed so far.
Who is Davy?
Davy is a timid zombie at the bottom of monster society. Other monsters see zombies as barely belonging to either side of the old human–monster divide, and Davy begins the story with little status or confidence to fall back on.
What changes his direction is not a prophecy. He finds Julia frozen in an ice-cream shop, falls for her immediately, and wants to bring her back to life. After eating a mysterious egg, he gains the unusual power that makes the journey possible.
Who is Julia?
Julia is the frozen human woman Davy is trying to revive. Official material has deliberately said little about her point of view, past or condition. For now, the important fact is what she means to Davy: she gives the weakest monster a reason to enter a dungeon ruled by creatures far above him.
That limited information is worth respecting. A character page should not turn trailer shots into a made-up biography or present fan theories as plot summaries.
Why is Davy fighting KOM?
Dr. Frank tells Davy that defeating KOM—the King of Monsters—could give him the power needed to save Julia. The personal goal therefore grows into the larger conflict advertised by the game: Davy must climb through the dungeon and face the ruler at the center of the monster world.
The beginner guide explains how that journey becomes a series of dungeon dives. The Style Eat guide covers the power that lets Davy turn enemies into temporary forms.
Is Davy permanently weak?
No. “Weakest zombie” describes his starting place, not the ceiling of the progression system. During a run he can take monster Styles, choose Zombie Skills and trigger Davy Burst. Between dives, Body Hack equipment gives him a prepared base for the next attempt.
That split between a cowardly underdog and absurdly fast growth is the central joke, but it also drives the mechanics. Read the Body Hack guide for the permanent equipment side of that change.
Which other characters help him?
The shopping-mall group includes several characters tied directly to progression:
- Dr. Frank points Davy toward KOM and researches the dungeon.
- Acelino develops and manages OT Gear at Ink on the Brain.
- Goyle provides analytics on the previous dive in the Security Room.
- Bessie Burger is linked to unlocking Zombie Skills and raising their rarity.
The third trailer also introduces the Four Generals serving KOM. Their exact roles in the finished story are better left to the game than guessed from short promotional biographies.
Where can you see the opening story?
The First Bite demo begins with the introductory cutscene and covers roughly the first two hours. Demo progress can carry into the full release, so it is the cleanest way to meet the cast without watching a stitched-together spoiler video.
