Shopping Mall Base Guide: What to Do Between Dungeon Dives
Use the mall efficiently with a clear route through Goyle, Dr. Frank, Bessie Burger and Acelino's OT Gear workshop.
FAQ
What is the shopping mall used for?
Where is Body Hack managed?
The mall is half of the progression loop
Returning to the shopping mall is not downtime between the “real” stages. It is where a dungeon dive becomes information, collection progress and a better plan for the next attempt.
Running to every icon and buying whatever is newest works for a while, but it hides the reason a build succeeds or fails. A fixed route keeps the decision-making readable.
Step 1: check the Security Room
Start with Goyle. The Security Room records the previous dive, collection status and materials. This answers the basic question: what did the run accomplish?
If the attempt ended early, look for the point where it fell apart. If the run went well, note which Style pairing and equipment choice made it stable. Do this before changing four pieces of gear and erasing the evidence.
Step 2: review discoveries with Dr. Frank
Jupiter Target houses Frank’s Database. The system tracks dungeon discoveries and connects them with collectibles.
This is where exploration-focused progress becomes visible. A run can be worthwhile even when it does not reach a new boss, especially if it adds a Style, enemy record, layer or collection milestone.
Step 3: visit Bessie Burger
Bessie handles Zombie Skill unlocks and rarity improvements. These belong to Davy’s underlying Zombie Style rather than a monster form obtained through Style Eat.
Before spending or upgrading, decide what the next run is testing. A general-purpose Zombie Skill plan is useful when Style core drops are uncertain. Read the Zombie Skills guide for the separation between these systems.
Step 4: use Ink on the Brain deliberately
Acelino develops and installs OT Gear at Ink on the Brain. Body Hack covers the left arm, right arm, head and legs, so changing one slot can alter more than a stat total.
Replace the part connected to the problem you observed. If flying targets were difficult, look for reach or ranged pressure. If a boss kept breaking your approach, prioritize a safer way to create an opening. The Body Hack guide explains the equipment layer in more detail.
Step 5: set one goal for the next dive
A useful goal is specific:
- test one new OT part;
- learn one boss attack;
- collect a named material;
- try a new Style pairing;
- explore rather than skip an unfamiliar layer.
“Get stronger” is not a plan because it gives no clue what to keep or change afterward.
A two-minute mall route
For routine attempts, use this order:
- Goyle: review results and material gaps.
- Dr. Frank: clear relevant discovery rewards.
- Bessie: check Zombie Skill progress.
- Acelino: make one purposeful Body Hack change.
- Enter the next dungeon dive.
The final game may add services or change when each shop opens. The route above is based on systems currently described by the official site.
