Style Combinations: How to Build a Two-Form Loadout
Use range, movement and damage roles to choose two monster Styles, with combinations shown in official and press gameplay.
What makes a good Style pair?
A good pair does not merely put two high-rarity forms next to each other. It gives Davy answers at different ranges or stages of a fight. Since only two monster Styles can be stored, overlapping roles waste the most limited part of the loadout.
Start by giving each slot a job:
- Access: reach air, distance or an unsafe section of the arena.
- Control: manage several enemies or slow the pace.
- Conversion: deal meaningful damage once an opening exists.
- Recovery: restore a resource or keep pressure without taking a bad trade.
The complete official roster is listed in the Style Eat guide.
Harpy and Golem
Press footage describes Harpy gaining height and carrying an air combo before a switch into Golem for a heavy attack from above. The logic is clean: Harpy creates position, Golem converts it into impact.
This pair is a useful model even if you prefer other forms. Ask whether one form can create an opening the second form is especially good at exploiting.
Snow Fairy and Cyclops
GPTRACK50 demonstrated Snow Fairy and Cyclops against Afreet. Snow Fairy offers a more elusive ice-based approach, while Cyclops brings the heavy club and bruiser role.
The pairing separates control from punishment. It also shows why a boss page should not name one mandatory Style without testing other combinations.
Harpy and Werewolf
Another Afreet demonstration used Harpy and Werewolf. Here the contrast is aerial access versus aggressive ground combat. Compared with Snow Fairy and Cyclops, it changes both the pace and the route into damage while facing the same boss.
Vampire as a utility slot
Developer preview material describes Vampire as a mid-range Style using bat swarms, with blood drain for energy recovery. A floating form also has a natural answer to some ground traps. That makes Vampire a possible utility slot when the other Style already covers close damage.
This does not prove Vampire belongs in every build. The value depends on the arena, the other form and the prepared Body Hack gear.
How should you adapt during a run?
You acquire Styles from enemies during the dive, so the ideal pair may never appear. Decide which role is missing, then judge the next drop by whether it fills that role. The build framework explains how Zombie Skills and equipment affect the same decision.
No combination on this page is labeled “best.” Damage values, rarity effects and the full launch balance still need controlled testing.
